Welcome to Camp Crossed Arrows!

Many young people learn their respect for the outdoors through organized activities such as those provided by Prairie Hills. These activities are an important part of life; a time for personal reflection, for challenge, for being together with friends or being alone with a beautiful sunset.

Girls can experience the outdoors in many ways, but the most traditional way is for girls to visit Prairie Hills own Camp Crossed Arrows. The goal is to allow each girl to develop an understanding of the outdoors and expand their outdoor recreational interests and skills.

CCA is home to thousands of girls every year. Learning to protect the environment and appreciating the beauty of nature are just two of the many benefits girls will receive by visiting camp.

Campers experience new and exciting challenges as well as revisiting the essential camping adventures including outdoor cooking, hiking, horseback riding, stargazing, climbing, singing, and going on outbound adventures with the low and high ropes challenge course in the depths of CCA.

CCA offers several programs throughout the year. In the fall and spring, getaway weekends are planned for girls and adults as well as camps in the winter months. For more information regarding the exciting programs being planned for this year, please read below for the list of camp events.
