Welcome to the Prairie Hills Cottage

The Prairie Hills Cottage was purchased in 1995, and following many renovations opened its' doors for service on March 17, 1996. Ashley Molacek, a Junior Girl Scout from Clarkson, won the contest to name this 2-story brick Cape Cod style house. Located along Highway 81, the Prairie Hills Cottage is home to the Prairie Hills Council Office and a large portion of the staff.

The building contains several offices, The Shoppe, a conference room, two restrooms, storage areas, a library area and a basement sleeping area with a small limited kitchen.

The Prairie Hills Cottage is open for meetings, trainings, projects, and troop overnights. If you have questions or would like more information contact the Service Center. Parking is available on the north and south sides of the facility.

The Cottage Camp-In Patch Program is currently under construction and will be made available as soon as we have it completed.
