Camp Ranger

Seeking qualified candidate for Camp Ranger position at Camp Crossed Arrows near Nickerson, NE.  The 150-acre camp is used year round for Girl Scout programming.  Ranger provides on-going maintenance and security of the camp - living on-site in accordance to the contract lease (housing and utility expenses provided).  Bachelor degree preferred, but not required in Park/Recreation Management, Natural Resource Management, or related field, and/or related experience and training.  Carpentry, mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills a plus.  Candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends.  Must possess ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and ability to walk over uneven terrain.  Full-time position to begin May 1, 2008 with training scheduled prior.  Interested candidates send cover letter and resume to:                                                                                           CEO, Girl Scouts, Prairie Hills Council                                             PO Box 1004, Columbus, NE  68602-1004                                  or e-mail to:  ceo@gsprairiehills.com.                                EOE/Affirmative Action
